Nope
A horse trainer and his sister encounter a predatory presence in the skies above their California ranch.
A clear sky is a blank canvas; the thing inside it is heard long before it is ever seen. We built the creature out of wind signatures — a weather system the audience could locate in the room before the camera dared to look up.
Crickets, horse breath, a coin that should not be falling.
Wind with the edges sharpened. A mechanical inhale, miles overhead.
Something moving inside weather. A body without mass.
Metal on wood. Hooves. A scream, compressed to a whisper.
The film is built from these components. Each stem below is a narrative thread — the work is in how they are woven, and where they are withheld.
Jean Jacket is given no voice of its own; it borrows the sky. We built a library of atmospheric signatures and warped them until wind, at moments, began to carry intention — a predator the ear registers before the eye has resolved the shape.
